Congratulations to Asian Eye’s Lasik and Implantable Collamer Lenses (ICL) surgeon for being the STAAR Awardee!
The event was held on Sept 15,2022 in Milan, Italy where he was recognized for being the first in the Philippines to reach over 500 Toric- ICL implantations.
In 2019, STAAR Surgical Company entered a strategical alliance with Asian Eye Institute to offer these lenses to patients. Since then, it has been a popular option because of the outstanding quality vision without removing tissue from the cornea. This means that patients with thin or irregular corneas, and high refractive errors now have another option to to achieve great vision using ICL.
