The National Capital Region (NCR) is now under Alert Level 1, and that means eased restrictions and adjusted protocols. However, we continue to implement standard rigorous control measures to ensure that you are safe during your visit at Asian Eye Institute’s network of clinics.
Here are some reminders when dropping by for a comprehensive eye exam, diagnostic test, or optical purchase.
Mask and Hand Hygiene
Everyone – our team, patients and guests – must wear an N95, KN94 or surgical mask. You may also wear a cloth mask over your surgical mask. Hand hygiene is also encouraged, with disinfectants and hand sanitizers made available around the clinic.
Screening and Testing
Submit yourself to temperature check upon arrival. Make sure to bring your vaccination card and a valid ID when you register at our reception desk.
Companions
We continue to implement one (1) companion per patient to maintain physical distancing at our clinics.
Eating or drinking
Eating or drinking is not allowed, especially in common areas.
To keep you safe, we are also doing the following measures:
Cleaning and Disinfection
We put special attention to places that are frequently visited and used. Exam rooms and machines are cleaned and sanitized between each patient.
Floor Markings and Seat Spacing
To create space and maintain physical distancing, we retained the markings on the floor and spaces between seats.
PPEs
Our medical team will still be wearing appropriate PPEs.
Vaccination and Antigen Testing
Our team is fully vaccinated and undergoes Antigen testing every two (2) weeks.
We also continue to offer Asian Eye Tele. Talk to your Asian Eye doctor, when an in-clinic appointment is not necessary. All you need is a stable Internet connection, a mobile phone/laptop, and a quiet environment. This service is open to all, whether you are a current patient of Asian Eye or not.
