Orthoptic training is a specialized program offered here at Asian Eye Institute. Facilitated by experienced optometrists and vision specialists, it is designed to enhance visual skills and improve eye coordination. Our doctors will use advanced tools and high-end equipment to ensure the best results for our patients.

What Happens During Orthoptic Training?

Your visual abilities, including visual acuity, depth perception, and eye tracking, will first be evaluated comprehensively. Once complete, your optometrist will create a personalized training regimen to help you overcome specific visual challenges. The results and progress of the program will be closely monitored to track your improvements properly.

Who Can Get Orthoptic Training?

  • Patients With Amblyopia or Strabismus – Orthoptic training is particularly beneficial for children with amblyopia (lazy eyes) or strabismus (crossed eyes).
  • People With Poor Depth Perception – Individuals with binocular disorders or poor depth perception may be recommended to undergo orthoptic training.
  • Individuals Who Have Recently Undergone Surgery – Those recovering from eye surgeries can undergo orthoptic training to help with their vision rehabilitation.
