Comprehensive Eye Exams

Comprehensive eye exams are needed to evaluate your vision and eye health thoroughly. Using modern equipment, our doctors can assess your visual acuity, depth perception, and eye alignment. We also offer tests for different conditions, like glaucoma and cataracts, early detection of which is necessary to prevent them from getting worse.

LASIK and Other Refractive Surgeries

Refractive surgeries, including LASIK, are vision correction procedures that reshape the cornea to improve focus and manage refractive errors, particularly astigmatism, myopia, and hyperopia. These procedures are generally safe and have an incredibly high success rate, but patients must undergo refractive screening to know if they are eligible.

Corneal Cross-linking

Some eye conditions, particularly keratoconus or ectasia, require treatment through a process called corneal crosslinking. It is a non-invasive procedure designed to strengthen the cornea by applying vitamin B2 or riboflavin drops to the eye and partially exposing it to UV light. Healing after corneal crosslinking can take weeks, depending on some factors.

Blephex Treatment

Patients who have blepharitis, a condition that affects the eyelids and lashes, can get BlephEx treatment. This procedure involves using the BlephEx handpiece, which is needed to exfoliate the outer layer of the eyelids and remove excess debris, scurf, and bacteria in the area. It is painless, fast, and incredibly safe.

Cataract Surgery

Cataracts are among the most common eye conditions that lead to permanent visual impairment, especially if left untreated. As the natural lens within the eye becomes clouded, it causes blurred or dim vision. Cataract surgery is an effective treatment to remove the clouded lens and restore clear vision for patients.

Retinal Injections

Also called intraviteral injections, retinal injections are needed to treat certain eye conditions, like diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration. These injections sometimes contain anti-vascular endothelial growth factor (anti-VEGF) drugs, delivered directly to the retina, to slow the progression of these diseases and effectively preserve the patient’s vision.

Pediatric Ophthalmology, Optometry, and Orthoptics

Children of any age can also be afflicted with certain eye conditions, which is why we offer comprehensive services in pediatric ophthalmology, optometry, and orthoptics. Our world-class pediatric doctors can help diagnose and treat various vision-related issues, ensuring the best possible eye care for our young patients.

Eye Plastic Surgery

Also known as oculoplasty, eye plastic surgery can treat different conditions afflicting the eyelids, eye sockets, tear ducts, and surrounding structures. It is usually needed to treat certain medical conditions and help patients see better. However, in other cases, it is done for cosmetic purposes.

Specialized Optometric Services

Some of our doctors offer specialized optometric services. They focus on specific eye conditions and diseases, so they most likely have the capabilities to provide better eye care services, especially for complex and unique cases. Speaking with them is crucial for many patients who require specialized treatments for their conditions.

Corneal Transplant

Also known as keratoplasty, corneal transplants refer to a surgical procedure that replaces a patient’s damaged cornea with a healthier one. It treats conditions such as keratoconus, corneal scars, and corneal ulcers. The new cornea, which often comes from a donor, is sutured into place and bandaged for a while to promote healing.
